Robert E. Sargent was born in Panorama City, California, however at a young age, his parents moved the family to Prescott Arizona, a small hometown environment. Robert grew up in Prescott and after high school graduation, he moved to Phoenix Arizona.

At a young age, Robert fell in love with books. While many of the other kids were playing sports, Robert was reading as many books as he could. He quickly got hooked on mysteries and suspense. It was his love of books and storytelling that led to his passion for writing. One of Robert’s biggest inspirations is Dean Koontz.

Robert spent most of his life in Arizona, where he met his wife Sandi in 2002. In 2010, Robert and his family moved to Oregon, because they wanted to see what trees were really like. Robert currently lives in Newberg, Oregon with his wife and their two fur-children, Riley and Mason. Riley is a Chocolate Lab and Mason is a Bernese Mountain Dog.
